When I asked Richard to build me a clock, he was very enthusiastic and up to any woodworking challenge. I decided to commission the "SwingTime" clock from Clayton Boyer. I was drawn by its simple, clean, and unique design. Richard kept these principles in mind while adding his own artistic touches, along with some mechanical improvements. I enjoy looking at the clock up close to observe its fine details. Richard is a steward of his work, checking in periodically to ensure the clock is running smoothly. My family and I enjoy this piece every day and we will continue to do so. Thank you Richard!

This “Organic” wooden clock I commissioned from Richard came out better than I could have imagined. There is no doubt that this sculpture was created with impressive craftsmanship and attention to detail.
From the quality of materials to the coloring of the wood, this is truly a high end work of art. I really loved the way he put attention into the overall aesthetics of the piece, while ensuring it matched the vision I was going for. The way the wood grain flows across each part of the clock makes it feel seamless, and the addition of seashells to serve as counterweights makes this piece feel truly “organic”.
You can feel Richard’s passion in this piece, and I could not be happier with the final result.

He is very skilled and precise in woodworking. The clock came out as I was expecting. Richard communicated openly during the process. I was also informed about available the clock verison and designs. Everything was done smooth and in a timely manner.
